For me, this is where the fun comes into play! Though Graphic Design courses are taught in the traditional manner, they give the artist so much more room for creativity and artistic license in any given piece of work.

We are still taught to follow the basic design rules, however, depending on the project or contracted piece of design-the rules change a bit for each working piece.

Some people design from well thought-out plans such as verbal notation or storyboards (which are not solely used for video production), while others like myself prefer to start with a blank canvas of sorts, choosing elements to incorporate from the clients business, music, or whatever is given to me to get a feel for the ideas that are passed onto me to work from.

As Graphic Design is not solely used for advertising, but rather it is all around us-everywhere we look, from print work to movie posters, magazines and television commercials; and now it encompasses so much more via the web in terms of multimedia as well. I hope you enjoy the pieces I have put here for you to view for the time being...
